Lilayi Elephant Orphanage
On June 22nd a group of children from schools we work with each year were sponsored by Wendy Catling-Hall and family (Lois went to Zambia in 2017) Moreover, today on the 22nd of June,2023. they sponsored another two schools from the northern part of Lusaka city to go and experience the amazing view of wild life a group of 20 students from *Kimbanguist Community School* and *Peble private school* had a chance to go on this tour. The Discovery Day catered for a group of 20 students from Grades 4 -7 . The bus collected them at 08 :00hrs to be ready to start their day at 09 :00hrs . The day runned from *09 00hrs to 14 : 30hrs* . During the day, the students learnt all about Zambia’s *habitats* , *biodiversity* and *ecosystems* as well as *conservation threats.* They also had the opportunity to go out on a *bush walk* and view the *elephant orphans* on the new Viewing deck!
