............................. and finally!!

Amelie and George

 Hello All

Sorry for the delay, last night was "a movie" and we didn't get time to write it.

Aside from that we had an early rise and breakfast at 07.30 where George went for fourths! We had a coaching briefing for the day and then hopped on the bus down the world's most bumpiest road to our schools. mine is called Chamabondo and George's is St. Josephine's. After two long hours of coaching six and seven year olds who don't know how to play Tag Rugby we have decided that we are never becoming teachers! Mad respect to Mr Sylvia, Mr Horrod and Mr King. Anyways, after the coaching we went to the Old People's Home for lunch - never thought we would be doing that in our lives!  We then got to work.

George - I was on painting duty and worked with Ciara to paint a bathroom that smelled like a pub toilet full of West Ham fans.  On bricklaying tomorrow where I will feel like an 'absolute Geezer'.

Amelie - I was on gardening duty. We started off making flowerbeds but were too good and finished early. This is where it took a turn for the worse! I had to push a wheelbarrow full of horse shit, sorry 'manure' and sprinkle it all over the tomoto beds! Would much rather have been painting!

In the evening we all got ready for dinner at Shoestrings - a restaurant in a backpackers lodge and everyone was excited. George ate a massive chicken all to himself whilst everyone else chose burgers and pizzas. After dinner we were treated to a show. It was a slight shock when several men marched our wearing nearly nothing, cycle shorts and animal skin concealing their dignity. George says "their moobs were so large they needed a bra". After a cacophony of animal noises I got invited up by a performer to dance. I had so much fun up there I might have to join the tribe. Everyone got a drum and created an absolute masterpiece. We danced the night away  and had one too many ................. cokes!

Everyone was exhausted and needed to sleep to recover from the sore dancing legs # Mr Sylvia knows how to dance. We got back to camp and all went to bed. It was a gret night down in the localk 'hippy lodge' -- that's all from us.

Much love from George and Amelie.

ps I love and miss you all lots and can't wait to see you all on returning, hope all of you are having fun without me, even though I know it is hard! Love Amelie.

ps Not missing you guys at all and loving the chance to eat as much as I want! (only joking - wink, wink! Hope you don't miss me too much because I am enjoying and loving life out here in the bush. Love George.

Gloria

Our coaching group today managed to understand the rules enough to play a proper game of Tag Rugby which was good .... but they had lots of arguments as they all wanted the ball. So me and Ben spent lots of time breaking them up! We split the children in to teams ready for the tournament on Friday. So we have one more day to get them ready which is going to be stressful.

After lunch we were at the old people's home and today I did gardening which was torture ... spreading manure and cleaning a new patch. I found some interesting stuff like a full on shower, a tiara and some glasses (we tried to get Ben to wear the glasses but he was worried about dirt. Every day for our meals the chefs have asiren and today I was given the honour of sounding it and we got to be first in line. The dinner was sausages ans steak which I was well excited for but then a bit disappointed they turned out to be beef sausages.

Goodbye from me, ps I don't want to get home and find the pantry empty! (I know I am demanding.

Love, Gloria
