Monday 17th July - Tournament 1

We started off today at 6am with some Coco Pops! After that we went past the squashed, fossilised frog and got into the minibus to depart for our first tournament of our trip. We arrived at the the venue and began to set up and clear the pitches, we were quick to set them up and then waited for the teams so that we could start the tournament, completing it with great success! I was a pitch manager which meant I ran the games and got all the right teams onto the pitch. It went from calm to stressful quite quickly!

Mr Sylvia thought he would demonstrate what it would be like if we were to forget our sun cream and is now as red as a tomato! We finished the day with a chill evening at camp playing volleyball with the young leaders from Zambia and Dutch ropes. At dinner we ate chicken and rice with chapattis and caramelised bananas and for dessert we had apple crumble and custard. Ben loved it so much he ate 6 portions of curry and is now in bed with a food coma!

Peace out lads from me and all the gang in Zambia!
