Tournament Six!!!!

 The group witnessed a Zambian speciality today:  22 teams on the tournament list - 300 children turn up expecting to play!  Once the Livingstone Tag Rugby leaders had sorted out the team selection chaos it was time to get going. The Esher group were an absolutely wonderful, professional team after their experiences of all the tournaments so far and the programme ran 'like clockwork' finishing ahead of schedule.

Congratulations to every single one of them for their performance today - could not have been more proud!

This is written in s short break before we head out for the Zambezi River Cruise. Get back on the blog later this evening.

    Hi Gloria we are back from Devon and the Devon gang missed you tonnes! It wasn't the same without you! But don't worry you can ride those waves again next year, or maybe even this October :) We all miss you so much and I'm really looking forward to picking you up at the airport on Thursday.     Well done all! - that is equivalent to organising half your school. You could do next sports day...just kidding. Ethan - Mum says it's very quiet here without the piano. I will have to make up with my playlist for the quiet. I hope you have a great river cruise and maybe even get to see some African hippos or crocodiles. Beware of the tiger fish too! Farewell Zimbabwe!

This morning I woke up at 6:30 thanks to Bens amazing wake up calls. I had scrambled egg sandwiches and jam on toast. After breakfast we went to the school I was coaching at and held a tournament for all the schools that we have been coaching. We got there and set up the pitches. Sami and I taught the kids the Haka. I refereed some of the games on my pitch, however  I may have missed a couple of offsides. None of the teams from my school made it to the final the tournament was very competitive! Cassie's team won and were very happy! There were a few tears from the team that came second! After the tournament we went to the camp we were staying in and packed up quickly then had lunch for the last time in Zimbabwe.  We said our goodbyes and headed to the border back into Zambia.  Good evening ladies and gentlemen!! Today we present to you the 2nd to last blog of Zambia, so we are expecting plenty of comments (cough cough, the Donaldson's, you have been very quiet!!) We started off with a late breakfast...it was supposed to be at 7:30 but was served at 8:20! All the boys had a lazy sleep in because Ben, their alarm, ignored his own alarm and did not wake them up! At 10am we set of for our big trip to Vicky Falls, it was nice and moist...! We got up close and personal with the baboons! We began by hiking down to the Boiling Pot which was a torturous hike through the baboon ridden jungle up and over rocks and through streams! It was all worth it as we were treated to stunning views of the bottom of the falls!! After we hiked back up through the baboon ridden jungle we crossed the Knife-Edge Bridge and broke into uncontrollable laughter as Amelie stacked it on the bridge which we caught from multiple camera angles!!
